Albania boss cancels internal elections amid protests

Albanian President Ilir Meta has cancelled internal elections after months of anti-government protests.

Mr Meta pronounced a domestic conditions in Albania would not concede for satisfactory elections, scheduled for 30 June.

The proclamation came after weeks of protests directed during forcing revolutionary Prime Minister Edi Rama mount down.

Mr Rama insists elections will go forward as planned. For months now, Mr Rama has been during contingency with a boss – a former bloc ally.
