Chris Mason: BBC Brexitcaster to be new horde of Radio 4’s Any Questions?

BBC domestic match Chris Mason is to take over from Jonathan Dimbleby as a presenter of Any Questions?, BBC Radio 4’s domestic discuss show.

Dimbleby announced in Mar that he would be stepping down after 32 years hosting a weekly programme.

Mason has worked during a BBC given 2002, and has been a domestic match for a final 7 years.

He is also one of a presenters of a Brexitcast podcast and TV show, on that he will continue to appear.

In a statement, Mason pronounced he was “beyond excited” to be holding over a programme.

“On a contention programme like Any Questions? audiences and listeners can know not only what someone thinks though because they consider that way,” he said.

“That isn’t always probable in other places though it’s critical in today’s conflict of ideas. It aids domestic review and informs what we all know about what’s function in a UK and around a world.”

Broadcasters who congratulated Yorkshire-born Mason on a purpose on Twitter enclosed Shelagh Fogarty, Mishal Husain, Ken Bruce, and Emily Maitlis.
