Filmmaker Danny Boyle has suggested that he has a “wonderful” thought for a threequel to his post-apocalyptic fear film 28 Days Later.
The executive pronounced a third film is in a works with Ex Machina celebrity Alex Garland, who wrote a 2002 original.
“Alex Garland and we have a smashing thought for a third part. It’s scrupulously good,” Boyle told The Independent.
“The strange film led to a bit of a resurgence in a zombie play and it doesn’t anxiety any of that. It doesn’t feel seared during all. He’s (Garland) concentrating on directing his possess work during a moment, so it’s stood in duration really, though it’s a you-never-know,” he added.
The initial film’s tract follows a handful of survivors perplexing to find refuge 4 weeks after a mysterious, incorrigible pathogen spreads via a UK.
The 2007 sequel, 28 Weeks Later, was destined by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo.
The film array also led to a striking novel patrician 28 Days Later: The Aftermath and a 2009 comic book series, 28 Days Later.
