India among favourites to win subsequent World Cup: Adam Gilchrist

Former Australia wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist on Wednesday pronounced India are one of a favourites to win a T20 World Cup, that will be hold in Australia subsequent year. Besides India, Gilchrist picked England, his possess nation and New Zealand as a front-runners.

“Probably they (India) will be featuring in semi-finals and a finals. we can’t envision who is going to win though we think that a common suspects like India, England, Australia and New Zealand will substantially make a prolonged way, semi-finals of course,” Gilchrist pronounced during a promotional eventuality in Mumbai.

Gilchrist also combined that a T20 format is a “bit like lottery”, and so doubtful winners competence also emerge. He pronounced Pakistan also competence have a possibility to win a tournament.

“Pakistan are series one ranked group in a format, so we can't order them out. But T20 cricket is a bit of lottery so it is tough to envision a leader until a final runs are scored or wickets are taken,” he added.

The 45-match ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be hold in Australia from Oct 18 to Nov 15 subsequent year. It will be played opposite 8 Australian cities – Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
