The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft on a finish of Bitter Sweet Symphony dispute

The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft has finally got a rights to a strain Bitter Sweet Symphony after 22 years.

Shortly after a release, a strain was inextricable in a authorised conflict that meant Ashcroft had to pledge royalties to Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

The twin have now relinquished all edition rights to Ashcroft. He concurred that it was a Stones’ late manager, Allen Klein, who had been obliged for a situation, rather than a musicians themselves.
