Tribunal Upholds Victory Of Bayelsa APC Rep




The National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal in Bayelsa State has discharged another petition filed by a Peoples Democratic Party opposite a feat of a All Progressives Congress in a 2019 National Assembly choosing in Nembe/Brass Federal Constituency.

The Independent National Electoral Commission had announced Israel Sunny-Goli of a APC as leader of a subdivision during a choosing progressing in a year.

Sunny-Goli had polled 41,150 votes opposite his closet rival, Mrs Marie Ebikake of a Peoples Democratic Party, who polled 19, 279.

Ebikake, however, in a petition prayed a judiciary to cancel a choosing of Sunny-Goli, citing non- correspondence with a supplies of a Electoral Act and assault in 7 wards of Nembe Bassambiri.
